Therapy is more about building new associations, making new, healthier default pathways. It is almost as if therapy is taking your two-lane dirt road and building a four-lane freeway alongside it. The old road stays, but you don’t use it much anymore.

Practice Areas
First Responders
First responders experience unique stressors, demands, and traumatic stress injuries that come with serving others. Therapy is tailored to the realities of your work with a focus on practical tools, emotional processing, and sustainable coping. Together we can focus on on healing, nervous system regulation, and restoring a sense of balance and control.
Substance use treatment
Substance use for many is an adaptation learned to cope or self-soothe. Together, we will create an environment of safety where we can explore your substance use and begin to facilitate recovery.
Trauma healing & recovery
“Trauma is what happens inside you as a result of a traumatic event. It is the loss of connection to oneself and the present moment” - Gabor Mate
Healing from trauma is a deeply personal and transformative journey. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering guidance at a pace that feels right for you, with compassion, empathy, and understanding. I utilize EMDR alongside other evidence-based approaches to help you safely process traumatic experiences and move toward meaningful healing.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
An evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel overwhelming or stuck in the present. By using bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the nervous system in healing from trauma and reducing emotional reactivity. Many people experience relief without having to relive or extensively talk through the details of traumatic experiences.
Life transitions & relational challenges
Life transitions—whether related to school, divorce or separation, relationship changes, grief and loss, career shifts, or other significant events—offer powerful opportunities for self-reflection and growth, helping us become the best version of ourselves. Our time in session can be spent identifying relational areas of development and strengthening effective communication, boundary setting, & advocacy skills.
Mood Disorders & Anxiety
In 2024, 61.5 million people experienced mental illness as reported by NAMI. My highly personalized, integrative approach can help you explore some of the root causes of your emotions and symptoms while identifying ways to decrease and manage those symptoms effectively to help you find your sense of peace.
